Still have Localtime error

Postby Roner » Thu Nov 22, 2012 5:00 pm

Can somebody help me to solve this problem?
I've asked Joep for more information but he doesn't answer.

The PHP version I uses is V5.3.17.

Warning: localtime() [function.localtime]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/Berlin' for 'CET/1.0/no DST' instead in /path/ac-includes/functions.inc.php on line 247

Deprecated: gmmktime() [function.gmmktime]: The is_dst parameter is deprecated in /path/ac-includes/functions.inc.php on line 250

Thanks.

Problem solved.

I've replace line 12 from

date_default_timezone_set(getLocalTimezone());

to

date_default_timezone_set ('Europe/Belgrade');

and the errors are disappeared.

I got the same ugly error after migrating my calendar to new hosting servers. :o

When I looked for the line you replaced, there was no such line!
In fact, I did a search on the whole folder contents and there was no line anywhere in the calender folder using the words date_default or timezone!

Finally I just added the line at the beginning of the ac-includes/functions.inc.php
and everybody was happy.

date_default_timezone_set ('Europe/Madrid');

Thanks for sharing your solution. :ugeek:
