Dat and Time

Dat and Time

Postby Matjan » Sun Jan 31, 2010 5:12 pm

Hi Chris!

Thank you for this amazing script! It's been very useful for us! After we've finished I'll share a link to let you see what we've done!

I've gt one question:

Where does the script get the info about the time and the date? I've tried to set the system clock one year ahead (2011), but the calender kept showing 2010.

Cheerio,

Hi,
Thanks for the comments :)

The script uses the php date() function. However, I am surprised that it doesn't reflect the changes you have made on your server.

You can adjust the initial settings for the calendar by changing the following lines:

Code: Select all
$cur_year=date('Y');
$cur_month=date('m');
$cur_day=date('d');

So, to adjust it to show one year in the future you could do this:
Code: Select all
$cur_year=date('Y')+1;

I hope this points you in the right direction.

Thank you for your reply:D

The reason why I asked you about the time and date is because in the calendar, today is marked. But this day (february first) is checked too in 2011, 2012 and so on.... I'm trying to change this, but I don't know how...
