Re: Help with Multiple Properties

Yes, that's the ticket. I wondered about the alert(the_url); line. It used to be commented out. On the other issue, not having the "comments" row in my database table, yes, I didn't have that in there. I moved the whole thing to a different server and forgot to add it back in. Now, everyth...

Re: Help with Multiple Properties

Well, I created a new folder and unzipped the files you sent me. I browsed to the index.php file in Firefox. I entered "test" in the comment box. When I click on a date I get two error messages. First I get this in a pop up: ./update_cal.ajax.php?id_item=2&the_date=2009-02-06&speci...

Re: Help with Multiple Properties

I've been kind of busy with other work, so I'm just now getting back to this. I spent a few hours very carefully adding/changing all the snippets of code you provided above for adding comments to dates. However, I've obviously done something wrong. When I open index.php in Firefox, the calendar is p...

Re: Help with Multiple Properties

As always, I was trying to make this more complicated than necessary. In fact, I didn't need to make any changes in your PHP script, at all. On the public side, I put a link to the private side where the calendar gets edited. When that link is clicked, the login form pops up. If the user puts in a v...

Help with Multiple Properties

I Have been through the entries that are already on the forum for Multiple Properties, but I'm just not getting it. Where in the code do I add the form? How do I get it to fit above "Num months to show" and "Language" drop downs? Secondly, do I need to add a separate table in my ...

Re: Availability Calendar PHP Error Message

Yes, it's all working perfectly, and I understand. I've done similar in my own php code. I'm learning. It will take time.

Thanks for all your help. You've been very kind and patient.

Re: Availability Calendar PHP Error Message

No, I don't have skype or msn running. Never got around to that. This is where I put that array line in functions, starting on line 70: // check if day is available $booked_days=array(); if(array_key_exists($this_date,$booked_days)){ //echo "<br>".$booked_days[$this_date]; if($booked_days[...

Re: Availability Calendar PHP Error Message

This change showed the calendar, but above the calendar it displayed these several lines: SELECT * FROM bookings_cal WHERE id_item=2 AND MONTH(the_date)=01 AND YEAR(the_date)=2009Array ( [2009-01-16] => [2009-01-08] => [2009-01-09] => [2009-01-10] => ) 1 SELECT * FROM bookings_cal WHERE id_item=2 AN...

Re: Availability Calendar PHP Error Message

Sorry to bother you again.

When I return to the calendar, shouldn't it be showing which dates are already selected? I see the dates selected in phpMyadmin, but they don't show up when the calendar loads or refreshes.

Thanks for all your help.
