Re: Jquery Integration of AJAX Calendar

Hi Chris, Just wanted to confirm that this Jquery admin code still doesn't completely remove the dependence on mootools. For example - the drag-to-sort functionality on the other admin screens? Can you provide any idea of what would be involved in getting a "pure" Jquery version of the cod...

Re: W3C Validation

The code uses the id of the div to store the month and year, separated by an underscore. (e.g. 7_2011) You can add another underscore to the end of the id and then anything else you want without breaking the code, but that doesn't help with the validation issue. To fix that, first modify cal.inc.php...

Help, I've broken "drag to sort" in IE only!

Hi there, I've just noticed that my hacking about has broken mootools when you drag-to-sort on the admin pages, and I'm posting this just in case the error report is at all familiar. When I click on a handle to do a drag-sort I get the following error in Internet Explorer: SCRIPT5007: Unable to get ...

Re: Integrate curvyCorners.js?

OK I have the integrated code working for both the public demo and the admin demo that are offered as links from http://www.online-reservations.co.uk Not a trivial exercise, the curvycorners.js integration needed a fair bit of fine tuning but I think that the results are worth it. Any of your users ...

Update CSS to use border-radius property

To get those nice curved corners on things you need to add the new border-radius property to the CSS for the calendar.

Make calendar code asynchronous - demo available

As covered at length in my "IE9 loading GIFs" post, the calendar is unresponsive to the point of uselessness when using Internet Explorer, which is such a shame as it works so well in all other respects. AJAX is meant to be asynchronous, and I must say that the modified code I'm running at...

Integrate curvyCorners.js? - demo available

The calendar looks great in Firefox, thanks in great part to the use of curved corners using the -moz-border-radius property in your CSS. That now needs updating to use the new border-radius property so that things will look curvy in IE9 and other CSS3 based browsers. That still leaves IE8 and earli...

Re: Mouse-over text on the S of Sunday does not show

Add the following line to your en.lang.php and similarly amend any other language files:
Code: Select all
$lang["day_7"]      =   "Sunday";

That fixes the problem.

More than one div with the same id - fixed

Just a small bug, which I admit doesn't seem to affect the behaviour of AAC :D Sometimes the id of a calendar div and the id of the cal_title div that it contains can be the same - which is technically not allowed. You use the div ids as a means of data storage, so to make sure nothing breaks you ca...
