Master Calendar Availability View

I believe a useful feature would be a master calendar that shows if a day is booked by and by what item(s).

What would be also very nice and actually better for us would be a master calendar that shows what days aren't booked by which items.

Re: Note field.

Hi Chris,

Totally makes sense to K.I.S.S.

I would suggest default behaviour is to clear it and the check box would say, "Do Not Clear After Adding Date" or something to that effect.

That way you keep the calendar working as it currently does with 1 added feature with an option.

Re: Note field.

Hi Chris,

What if after you applied, it cleared that field?

Re: adding user to administer bookings in an existing calend

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the code snippet. I replaced lines 57 & 58 with your updated code and it works like a champ!

By the way, love the calendar. You've done an excellent job and I'm looking forward to making a donation in the near future.

Note field.

Would like to see a third field under bookings that a user can type in a note and it gets saved with the other two selections and appears as note when hovered over.

Users Can only Mark Available Dates

I would like to create a first come first serve kind of system, if a user has already marked a date with a method it can't be changed or made available except by admin.

Maybe there's a way to do that with hacking some code?

Re: adding user to administer bookings in an existing calend

How can I make it so users are automatically defaulted to the Bookings page? I found that if change line 58 elseif(!isset($_REQUEST["page"])) $_REQUEST["page"]="bookings"; It does this, but it also does this for admin, not that big of a deal, but would be nice if you c...

Re: adding user to administer bookings in an existing calend

Zen, Thanks for the tip on how to remove the error message. Does anyone know how to change default selected menu. As of now, when I log in as a user (not admin) I no longer see the "Booking Items" button and only see the "Bookings" button, but I'm dropped off onto a blank page. I...

Re: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings

Found the issue. It was in my PHP.INI file.

I added the following:

date.timezone = America/Los_Angeles

Of course use your correct Time Zone location.

Don't forget to restart Apache after saving the edit.

It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings.

When I view the calendar I see the following message repeated numerous times at the top as well as in the individual calendars: Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. ...
