What plugin are you referring to?

Anyway, the version changes have only been to add new features and to fix the odd bug. There was never any security issues.

The "available" state is the default state for all dates - ie the dates that are NOT saved in the database. You con modify the text for this state in the admin > languages section. If you want to remove the state from the key you will need to find the code that creates the key. This can be...

H, you can changes the colors in the calendar css file.
I have taken a quick look and it looks as though the path to your background image is incorrect.

Hi,
Those are simply the dates of the previous and next months. Their only purpose is to fill the gaps and give a hint of the months either side.

From the image it looks like the path is wrong for the CSS and JavaScript files etc.
This is defined in your calendar admin > config panel
