Booked AM & PM modification

Postby jakslev » Wed Jun 29, 2011 4:33 pm

For some reason my default booked am and pm settings show as a grey square.
However, I have seen on other websites where this calendar is implemented; that it is possible to make a booked am and pm show as a square cut over diagonally / triangle.

How is this accomplished? I couldn't find the images used.. :o

Hi,
The image for the special "half" day state is stored along with the css file.
You need to modify the css file so that it points correctly at the image file. This is defined at the very top of the css file so should be easy to find.
Bear in mind that the current version of the calendar has 2 css files - one for the public view and a second one for the admin panel so you will need to set this path in both files.

Hi Chris,

This is what I have in that file:
Code: Select all
.cal_month ul li.booked_am,
.cal_month ul li.booked_pm,
.cal_month ul li.booked_pr_am,
.cal_month ul li.booked_pr_pm   {   background-image:url("/calendar/ac-contents/themes/default/images/bg_days.png");}

I do not have any image files in the same directory, and when I changed the bg_days into half-days it didn't make any difference :o(

Cheers,

According to that css snippet the background image should be here:
www.yourdomain.com/calendar/ac-contents ... g_days.png

If you have it in a different location, you will need to modify that path accordingly.

Do you have an url that I can look at to maybe help you more?

That's strange, it is working now. :)

As I suspected the path to your background image is wrong.
You need to change this:
Code: Select all
background-image: url("/calendar/ac-contents/themes/default/images/bg_days.png");

to this:
Code: Select all
background-image: url("/ac-contents/themes/default/images/bg_days.png");

Thanks I will try that. Don't worry it's not the first time I am seeing delay on Name Servers involving Spain and Florida (where my stuff is) :o))
