Postby borderlad » Wed Apr 28, 2010 7:25 pm

After a few attempts of install i am facing the problem below

C:\Domains\beboer.co.uk\wwwroot\ac-includes\ajaxac-config.inc.php not found

I know the file does not exist because the path is wrong can anyone help me fix this?

see it at www.beboer.co.uk/index.php

Hi,
This is turning into a common problem :( which is due to fact that I did not prepare/test the code on a Windows server :(

The code is looking for foward slashes "/" to replace/add but is clearly not finding them as on Windows it uses backslashes "\".

You need to open the following files and basically replace the whole block of code that attempts to define the "AC_ROOT" with this single line of code:

Code: Select all
define("AC_ROOT", $_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"].DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR."calendar". DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR);

The files:
ac-inlcudes > cal.inc.php
ac-includes > ajax > ajax-common.inc.php
ac-admin > index.php

Actually, I see that in your case you have uploaded the calendar code to the root directory rather than a sub-directory so rather than the line above, you simply need this:
Code: Select all
define("AC_ROOT", $_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"].DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR);

I hope that you can follow my "brief" instructions.
Let me know if you need anymore help.

Nothing works for me ive tried all possible path roots and im a web designer hehe,

the code you want me to change is

Code: Select all
//   define "root" path
define("AC_ROOT", str_replace("ac-includes","",dirname(__FILE__)));

as the real site i want it to run on will be in a subdomain lets assume "availability"

i would enter
Code: Select all
//   define "root" path
define("AC_ROOT", str_replace("availability\ac-includes","",dirname(__FILE__)));

correct or not??
The error i always face on admin page is config file not found so cant do anything until i know the exact structure of setting the root folder, if its any help the root folder on the drive is c:\domains\beboer.co.uk\wwwroot\availability
