calendar installation on server problems.

I've downloaded the zip file to my downloads folder.

I've extracted the content of the zip folder to a folder on my computer.

I have created a folder named calendar on the server and copied the contents of the extracted zip folder into the calendar folder.

I have also right clicked on the ac-config.inc file and changed the write permission to 777.

I have also opened a browser and found the filed on the server. I do not know how to run the ac-install.php file? When I double click this file I can see coding.
I hope you can help Do you have a video or instructions how to do this? I am very very new to this type of coding! .

Hi,
In theory there isn't much coding to do.
Running the install file should be pretty much all you need to do to set the calendar up then follow the installation instructions in the readme file or here to add it to your web.

However, you say that when you open the install file in your browser all you can see is code
If this is the case it sounds as if your server is not configured to parse php code.
In which case you will need to contact your server administrator (hosting company) and see how this can be fixed.
