How can I remove that drop down box on the top part that shows up calender

In the calendar index.php file just find and remove these lines:

Code: Select all
<select name="id_item" class="select" onchange="this.form.submit();">
   '.sel_list_items($_REQUEST["id_item"]).'
</select>

how can I make the pop-up size bigger and smaller

What pop-up are you referring to? This calendar doesn't have any popups.

well if you put a link on a page with this in:
http://www.mydomain.com/calender/index. ... /index.php

then you get a popup, barely filling a small pc screen

Thanks for the link in the pm.
As I suspected what you are requesting has nothing to do with the calendar script.
You are simply trying to open it in a popup window using some JavasScript.
To adjust the size of the window you just need to adjust the values in this line of your JavaScript code:
Code: Select all
calendarWindow=window.open(url,'name','height=1000,width=1000');

Changing the height to 800 should probably to the trick.

That code is in the url that you sent me - ie it is your code. It has nothing to do with the calendar script.
Just open your file and change the height=1000 to height=800 (or similar) and it should change the size of the window.
