multiple calendars

Postby gogobes » Wed Mar 23, 2011 1:31 pm

Hello!
I started using AC last year and I'm more than happy with it.
I'm having multiple apartments on my page, and for now I'm showing availability calendar for all facilities on special, single page. http://dubrovnik-apartments-kucer.com/availability-calendar-for-our-apartments/. I want to loose that last page and attach a single, unique calendar to different pages where belonging apartments are presented. Following previous posts related to this subject I managed to show wanted calendar on different pages, but there is still option available to switch between different External Item ID's. Is it possible to show calendars without that?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I must admit that I don't fully understand your question :(

To show a single, specific, calendar on a page you just append the id to the iframe url like this:
http://dubrovnik-apartments-kucer.com/k ... ?id_item=2
http://dubrovnik-apartments-kucer.com/k ... ?id_item=6
etc.
You can then remove the drop down list of items from the calendar if you don't want the user to switch away from the selected one.

Sorry if I am missing the point.....

Hy Cris!
That's correct! You've got the point.
I managed to isolate calendar I want to show by appending the id to the iframe url, like http://dubrovnik-apartments-kucer.com/kalendar/?id_item=1, but the question is how to remove the drop down list of items, so the user cant switch away from that calendar to another.
Thank you!

You can remove that easily from the calendar/index.php file.
It doesn't affect the way the calendar works.

hi

how can setup the calendar to be managed by multiple users?

i have integrated the calendar but it requires the admin login

the way i see currently is to change the isset($_SESSION["admin_id"] in ac-admin/index.php

and override the session with the a backoffice user sessionif not it requires login as admin each time

Hi,
So, you want multiple users to be able to control the complete admin panel? (and not just their own calendars)
the way i see currently is to change the isset($_SESSION["admin_id"] in ac-admin/index.php

That is not a good idea as you would modifying the unique identifier.
What you need to do is modify the user "level" in the database. The main admin user has a level of "1" whereas the "sub" users have a level of "2". You just need to set the users that you want to have overall admin control to 1.
Ideally this could be added to the user admin panel, a simple drop down list with the 2 levels should be enough.

Or is this not what you want?

Chris

i would like to implement the calendar management interface per user
i would like to pass on their admin login data so they won't get the admin_login panel
as im including it currently via an iframe, include() just didnt work.
so the condition for them to get the i frame is only if their unique isset($_SESSION['userid'])

Hi,
The calendar file for administrating just the availability is the ac-admin/bookings.admin.php.

You will need to include all the JavaScript files.
If you have altered or are using an alternative admin login system, you will also need to modify the ajax file that is used to update the date states accordingly as this is restricted so that only registered users can update the dates.
