Hi Folks,
this looks an ideal calendar for my site,

I am getting this message as i try to go through the steps as desctibed in the documentation,
"Unable to connect to database. Please check your data."

I am using unix hosting, and created my db, gave it a user and password, set the to ac-config.inc.php 777
then on the ac-install.php page i left database host as localhost and put in the DB Name, username, and password, hit save configuration and then the message appears,
any ideas ? much appreciated,

Tom

Hi,
By the sounds of it some thing is wrong with the database user data that you have inserted in the install panel.
I suggest that you double check your date.
Also, has your database user got "create" permissions for the database?

Hi Chris,
To be honest my level of date base knowledge extends on how to make one in Hsphere,
I have logged into the myphpadmin
In Hsphere I put a check/tick in the current status for "create" for the user of that db

"I suggest that you double check your date"
not sure what you mean here?

anything else I could do ?

thanks,
Tom

Sorry, I meant to say "data" and not "date".

If you send me a pm with your database connection data and the calendar url I can take a look for you.
You might also need to send me your HSphere connection data in case I need to check your db data.

Sorted via pm/ftp.
The configuration required the IP rather than the localhost.

Thanks very much for the donation. It is greatly appreciated :)
