connecting to other CMS

My website is completely build in Silverstripe. It's not handy to have multiple admin panels for my website, so i wondered if i can connect the Availability Calendar to a CMS like Silverstripe. Is this already being done before? Can you give me some information about this?

Hi,
I'm afraid that I have no idea about Silverstipe.
I have integrated the calender into Open-realty which, whilst has nothing to do with Silverstripe, has proved to me that integration is fairly simple.

You might want to take a look at this url that I found within Silverstripe with instructions as to how to create/integrate an external module:
http://doc.silverstripe.org/creating-modules

Sorry, I can't help you further with this one.

Chris

Chris, thx for your reply.

I had thesame thoughts: I started with creating a new module for Silverstripe, i found another Ajax/jquery module witch i can use as an example. It is looking good so far: so who knows. If i succeed, i will send the Availability Calendar Silverstripe module to you, so you can use it for more promotion if you like.

What kind of server do I need for Ajax and JQ? I need to make a dev server that can sandbox some Ajax and Jquery. What is the server that handles those? Is it an Apache add-on like PHP or is it a stand-alone deamon or what's the scoop? The score? The Skinny?

Could you clarify it please.
