Admin Still Freezing Up in IE 8 with 3.03.05

Postby nootkan » Mon Sep 26, 2011 2:44 am

I have made the upgrade to version 3.03.05 and I still have IE 8 freezing up in the admin. Works fine in all other browsers as far as I can tell. Any ideas?

Update:
I tried a fix reccomended in http://forum.ajaxavailabilitycalendar.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=290 where I should remove these lines:
if(isset($warning)){
$xtra_moo.="
roar.alert('Information : ','".$warning."');
";
}

However in version 3.03.05 there are these lines of code:
Code: Select all
if(isset($_REQUEST["msg"])) $warning.=$lang["msg_".$_REQUEST["msg"].""];
if(isset($warning)){
   $xtra_moo.="roar.alert('Information','".$warning."');";
}

Should I remove them? Including the curly bracket?

I wish I could work out why IE8 was doing this :(
I suggest that you replace this line:
Code: Select all
$xtra_moo.="roar.alert('Information','".$warning."');";

with this:
Code: Select all
$xtra_moo.="alert(' ".$warning." ');";

That way you will still get the standard JavaScript alert box-
