Error on admin login page

Postby nicjonesdesign » Fri Apr 01, 2011 4:19 pm

Hi I have an error appearing on the login page to the calender admin.

I had this working previously so I must have made a mistake somewhere.

When i go to the calender/ac-admin page and input the log in details and click Login I get the following error:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/99/7080999/html/calender/ac-config.inc.php:1) in /home/content/99/7080999/html/calender/ac-admin/admin-login.admin.php on line 24

However it still allows me to login, but I have to click Login a second time.

So obviously its not a problem because I can still login to calender admin... however as I am using this on a clients website it looks unprofessional with the error message and is likely to confuse the client.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!

Thanks

nic

Hi nic,
you must have added "something" to the config.inc.php page that is being output to the browser. Even a whitespace can prevent a php header() from not working.

Thanks Chris

Turns out it was simply a single white space before the very first <?php tag in the file.

Thanks
